How it Works:

When you book a slot, I’ll ask you to send over 5-10 illustrations for me to review. I will also be taking a look at your website and social media.

You can expect a personal and in-depth, one-page response from me, in which I’ll outline what I think works well among your pieces, and gently suggest which areas could be improved upon. You can expect this email within 5-10 business days.

I might make suggestions on the overall cohesiveness of your portfolio, your color palettes, your characters, compositions, and whether or not your portfolio checks off a big enough variety of what art directors in the children’s publishing market are looking for.

It is my aim that you walk away from my review with practical pointers that make you feel inspired to create and clear on how to refine your portfolio.
